I'm very excited to be the founder and organizer of this essentially important program with the core value of helping children flourish.
The Children's Art Museum is the mothership and foundation of this exciting mission. The core objective and focus is to provide a delightful experience for children when they share their artistic creations with the public while also being a part of a world record made up of the number of children's artworks in the collection.
The core objective of The Children's Art Museum is to provide a delightful experience for children to share their creativity with the public.
Providing a child with the opportunity to enjoy the experience of being involved with their creation outside of their normal 'circle' is key, which at some point will expand out into many aspects beyond just art. Their tangible and unique two-dimensional artwork being included in a developing record-breaking collection for public and online viewing evokes a multitude of positive emotions and marks a significant milestone along their developing path.
At the present moment, I bring two dynamic backdrops to the presentations for the dynamic visual experience, complementing the insights and messages I have to share. My goal, after the 75-minute session, is for every young mind to leave with a fresh outlook on what's possible, elevated motivation, and the experience of participating in the presentation. My presentation isn't strictly scripted, allowing me the flexibility to adapt and respond as the children's engagement and curiosity grow.
To begin our collection, we are focused exclusively on children's art submissions from the Broomfield, Colorado area. This will allow for a local community involvement that not only supports the arts, but also directly supports a positive opportunity for growth for many kids.
Please contact me soon. The official online launch date for the museum is set April 30th, 2024, and the first public showing will be later in June. The exact date will be announced here, on social media sites and by email when an email address is provided.

Lighting Little Journeys is an engaging presentation for groups of kids to encourage inspiration through thought-provoking stories and 'STEAM' related key points with tangible examples. The presentation's objective is to provide a higher level of awareness of the world outside of their immediate circle.
For the past few years I've been dreaming of this special mission, and now, fully committed to what truly matters to me, I've brought it to reality. It's an amazing feeling of 'working the purpose' and spreading my wings a bit further to venture out and provide kids access to a unique experience and also set in motion a higher probability of them learning to fly a little higher and see a little further ahead.
Looking back on my exciting journey thus far and seeing all the experience I've gathered, I truly believe that I can make a meaningful impact by 'paying-it-forward' to young, inquisitive minds in an interactive way. Through guest speaker presentations tailored for open classroom settings, community room locations and also one-on-one engagements with families, I aim to share the valuable benefits to kids through my presentation in a fun and rememberable way.
Science, technology, engineering, art and math aspects (STEAM) are clearly identified throughout the presentation including 'snippets' of the importance of humanity and the significance of kindness.
From a young age, it was clear that my journey was destined towards creations and learning from people that sparked my inspiration and took me under their wings. I am deeply thankful for everyone who believed in me and invested their time in my growth.Their support enabled me to achieve the prestigious opportunity to paint for numerous rock stars, allowing millions worldwide to witness my art on stage behind many bands I grew up listening to. Embracing the principle of paying-it-forward, I decided to fully dedicate myself to this meaningful mission by stepping back from the backdrop painting projects and focusing entirely on this purposeful endeavor.
This backdrop was painted exclusively for my presentations. During these presentations, kids have the opportunity to dab in additional distant stars with a Q-Tip and washable white tempera paint.
Vibrant colors, intricate shapes, and visual depth make it an engaging stage backdrop to talk about. I provide insights into the fabrication, design and painting process, which I like to call 'large graphic engineering', and I strive to present it in an interesting manner easily grasped by young audiences. I supply the lightweight PVC frame for hanging the backdrop, requiring only a minimum area of 6'x17' for setup.
Smash Mouth graciously donated this huge 20'x30' painted backdrop to The Art Of Their Journey! I painted it for the band several years ago and personally delivered it to them on the beautiful boardwalk of Santa Cruz, CA. (Circa 2013)
The sheer size and vibrant colors of this backdrop are sure to captivate the kids. Due to its size when fully opened, it requires ample floor space for display. I would love to surprise the kids by secretly spreading it out in a separate area, with it being revealed towards the end of the presentation when we relocate to where it is.The kids will be thrilled to walk out onto it during our Q&A session.

Once completed, this lightweight mechanical prop will be awsome. It's crafted to emulate the systems used in concerts and theaters, especially before the advent of modern electronic systems.
The fusion of 'STEAM' and fabrication techniques makes for a fascinating discussion including an interactive experience. Community funding for this project will begin shortly, enabling me to start the in-house fabrication to ensure it's ready for presentations this spring.

"Jeff's visit was the highlight of our students' week! They were so engaged and excited to see the large painted backdrops, and had tons of questions about them, which he patiently and eagerly answered. His presentation was full of insights into the working life of an artist and wisdom for young artists. He inspired our school community to want to make our own backdrops. Thank you, Jeff!"

"We appreciate the interesting information Jeffrey shared about his career with our students. He was able to kindly adjust his conversation based on the ages of our students and made it kid friendly. We're truly grateful for the valuable information and motivation he shared during his time with us."
